The main ingredient of refined konjac flour is glucomannan (KGM), which is a rare high molecular polymer extracted and isolated from konjac tubers. It possesses super absorbent properties (able to absorb and expand 40-100 times), thickening, film-forming, emulsifying, gel-forming, lipid-lowering, and gastrointestinal cleansing characteristics. It is widely used in food, printing and dyeing, chemical, petroleum drilling, and other industries.
