Use: Dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate is a highly water-soluble liquid monomer with good adhesion. It is used as a brightener in automotive and architectural coatings, latex paint, cleaning and dispersant in lubricating oil, water treatment additives, retention and filtration aids for paper making, acrylic floor paint, and can also be copolymerized with vinylpyrrolidine as a styling hair adhesive and demulsifier in water-based lotion.
